Cob Gallery is pleased to announce Nina Mae Fowler's latest commission of a further five portraits of New College's retiring fellows.
Known for her sumptuously detailed large-scale drawings and installations, this commission further recognises Fowler's achievements for her work in portraiture. Other recent notable accolades include, her nomination for the BP Portrait Prize in 2008, and commission by New College Oxford in 2011 to portray Richard Dawkins.
Images of the portraits are held in the archive of The National Portrait Gallery and the Bridgeman Art Library, with the originals now part of the permanent collection at New College Oxford.
